Expecting with love - St. Croix, VI - Maternity Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful couple as they where expecting their first baby last month and now I'm happy to say that now they have a very cute bouncing baby boy! We had a great session and we were able to go to several areas around the Pelican Cove Beach Hotel. The beach there is gorgeous, but then again is there any beach in St. Croix that is not beautiful? Definitely not! All the beaches here are amazing and the sunsets are even better! I got so carried away that I worked the shoot until there was hardly any light!

The cutest little nephew ever!

I got a chance to make a session with my cute little nephew Jonathan, at only 4 days old he did so well during the entire shoot that I just couldn't stop making up new set ups with him! He was such a joy to work with and so sleepy...perfect for those newborn images!

It's a Birthday Smash! - St. Croix USVI Children Photogapher

Being a year old is a big deal! You are only 1 once in your life so it needs to be memorable, that's why I love to do the cake smash session on the little ones when they turn a year old, plus it is just so much fun...Is this pure joy or what!

Strong little boy - St. Croix, VI Newborn Photographer

This strong little boy was amazing to work with even at 3 1/2 weeks old. It is always recommended to have a newborn session within the first 10 days of a newborn's life; nevertheless it is still possible to do this kind of photography at this stage as well. It just takes a little bit more time and patience! When newborns are weeks older they are more alert and less flexible to get into those curled sleepy poses. At the beginning he was pretty alert but after a little while he went to sleep and pretty much slept throughout the session!

Feeling Strong...

I woke up today and felt like this...strong and ready for anything coming my way. And yes it is Friday, but besides feeling TGIF I feel about a lot of good things coming our way!  Not to long ago after eating some delicious PF Changs on my last trip to Orlando I got this really uplifting message from my fortune cookie... "Do not give up; the beginning is always the hardest". I really like getting fortune like that! More of this little guy coming soon...!

Sweet Family Moments - St. Croix USVI Family Portrait Photographer

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph this little girl again, she has grown so much since the last time I saw her when I did her newborn pictures! As soon as she turned 7 months old her parents decided that it was time to document this stage in her life, and even better we did it as a family session! We had so much fun walking around the Carambola Golf Course where everything was so green and in bloom but what I enjoyed even more was having the opportunity of capturing these loving moments for this lovely family! 



This cute little girl has such an interesting personality and I love how she has that deep soulful look in her eyes!

Professional Photographer Cover Contest - Miami FL / St Croix USVI Photographer

Im so excited to say that I decided to enter the Professional Photographer Magazine cover contest! I decided to enter this one because it has always been one of my favorites and it is also the one that describes my style the most. I remember the day I took this...It was at my Miami home studio and I came up with the idea the night before the session and out of all the set ups I had planned for the client this was the one that I just couldn't wait to try! When I finally did, this beautiful baby decided to give me a smile and this was the result, it could not have been more perfect!
