This little one was super cute and very alert during her photo shoot, but I finally managed to get her to sleep throughout these setups and they came out great!

I finally was able to do this little baby's photo shoot since we had to re-schedule several times because of hurricane Earl! But finally when it was all over and although I still did not have any power we were able to proceed and make the session happen...and what a cute session it turned out to be!...more to come!

It was time to get some shots from Bella, she has changed so much since her newborn session back in november! She has really turned into an adorable little baby and a very happy one too! This outdoor shot  is definitely one of my favorites...

I loved her in this outfit as she reminds me of the pretty porcelain dolls my grandmother used to have in her home...

Last week I had a very cool session as I had the opportunity to photograph a contestant for the Best Girls Kiteboarding Search. I scouted a few beaches here and decided to go with my favorite, Rainbow beach. We did some model posing but the fun part was when she took out her equipment and opened her kite! It actually made me want to give this sport a try...but I still need the courage for it :-)

It is really hard to pick a beach here in St. Croix...they are all so beautiful! I had to scout new locations for a photo shoot that I'm doing this weekend and had the opportunity to go around the Island looking for some new beach spots. I must say that the sunsets here are amazing! I've heard around here that there have been times where you could see here what they call a green sunset...It's an optical phenomena that happens in seconds and right before it sets! It would be cool if I ever get to see one so I'm crossing my fingers! In the mean time enjoy this one...

After taking a great workshop with Kelley Ryden and Tracey Raver I also had the opportunity to learn from Beth Jansen another great children photographer from Oklahoma. She has a great sense of style and really knows how to work with color. We did some urban style photos as you can see here by walking around town...here are some of the images I took:

I was lucky to try a fish eye lens thanks to one of the students in the workshop that was super nice to lend me hers for some of the shots. I just love the cool effects you get from using this type of lens...I can't wait to get one!

In the month of May I had the incredible opportunity to take these images at a newborn photography workshop with Kelley Ryden and Tracey Raver. They truly are the best at what they do, so I had the chance to learn from the best! We learned techniques on posing babies and got new tips on post processing. The workshop also consisted of a class with Beth Jansen, another great photographer that has an amazing eye on working with color and urban portrait photography. I will be posting some of the shots that I took during her class very soon!

One of my good friends from PR recently had her first baby and I was happy to meet him on my last trip to the island...he is super adorable as you can see!
